Enterprise Components

Kitto^x Enterprise includes advanced components not available in the Open-Source edition. These components extend the framework with additional tools, report engines, and development features.

Desktop Embedded Mode

The Desktop Embedded Mode allows wrapping a Kitto^x application inside a native Windows desktop window using Microsoft Edge WebView2 (TEdgeBrowser). The application looks and behaves like a traditional desktop application — no address bar, no tabs, no bookmarks.

Report and Export Tools

ReportBuilder Tool

The ReportBuilder Tool controller generates reports using the ReportBuilder Enterprise engine. It supports server-side report rendering with optional design mode for end-user customization.

FlexCel Export Tool

The ExportExcelTool controller with FlexCel support generates Excel files using the TMS FlexCel engine. It supports advanced formatting, formulas, and template-based export.

DebenuQuickPDF Tool

The MergePDFTool controller uses the Debenu QuickPDF library for PDF merging and manipulation, including QR code generation and document composition.

KIDE — The Kitto^x IDE

KIDE is a dedicated development environment for Kitto^x applications. It provides:

• Two-way YAML editor — edit metadata as tree or raw YAML, changes sync both ways
• Model import and generation — import database tables as Kitto^x models with automatic field mapping
• View and Layout visual editor — drag-and-drop grid columns and form fields with auto-generation
• Menu and Home view creation — scaffold the application structure from models
• Code-checking — validate YAML metadata against the current model definitions
• Resource editor — manage images, JavaScript, and CSS files

Advanced User/Function Profiling

The Enterprise edition includes enhanced user profiling capabilities with fine-grained function-level access control, extending the base Access Control system.
