Edit Applications Demo

Folder: Demos\EditAppDemos.

Shows how to use TSynEdit to build editor applications in three styles:

ProjectStyle
EditAppSDI.dprSDI: one window for each document.
EditAppMDI.dprMDI: the documents are child windows of the main form.
EditAppWorkbook.dprWorkbook: the documents are the pages of a page control.

How it is built

The applications use interfaces (unit uEditAppIntfs) to hide the implementation details. This is useful when the application has other types of sub-forms that must respond to the same menu and toolbar commands: each sub-form defines internally which commands it handles and how, so the main form needs not to change when a new type of sub-form is added.

UnitContent
frmMain, frmMainSDI, frmMainMDI, frmMainWorkbookThe main form of each style.
frmEditorThe form of an editor, shared by the three styles.
dmCommandsData module with the actions, the images and the shared components.
uEditAppIntfsThe interfaces between the main form and the sub-forms.
